Well first of all, I'm looking for new friends, and since my main hobby/obsession is music, this seemed like a great community to post in (this was cross-posted). I'm 37 and live near Seattle. I listen to all kinds of rock music (especially progressive), as well as some jazz. My influences are listed below. I'm also a composer/musician/arist, and I'm currently working on an album to hopefully be released in the next couple of years. I love making new friends, particularly if I can find some groovy people who share the same music interests as me and love to talk about music. But I also tend to ramble on with all kinds of meaningless dribble in my journal.
